The Best Stretch for Thoracic Mobility

💥 The thoracic spine is often overlooked when assessing the causes of back, neck, and shoulder pains. However, targeting mobility of the thoracic spine should be implemented in any rehab program if limitations are present. Many people have decreased mobility in the thoracic spine which causes the body to compensate at other areas of the body during functional movements. Often times, individuals with limited thoracic mobility will present with pain in the mid back region or near the shoulder blade.

💥 This movement is a spin off from the traditional thread the needle stretch. I call it, thread the needle 2.0.

💥 Add this to your daily workout routine and notice a difference in your overall mobility!
