Physical Therapy & Rehab FAQs
-
From start to finish, we provide our patients with the ultimate physical therapy experience. Unlike other physical therapy clinics who typically have 4-5 additional patients at the same time, we provide our patients with the one-on-one care they deserve.
Every session is with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, not with an aide, tech, or assistant. Our highly individualized approach allows for proper modifications, progressions, hands on guidance, and real time feedback that are all essential for optimal progress towards goals and long-term success.
Through the use of our mobile app our patients have 24/7 access to their physical therapist which allows them to reach out with any questions or concerns throughout the entire process. We take the time to listen to your story and help you get the results you want. We get to know you, we collaborate with you, and we help you crush your goals.
-
Yes! Every session is a full 60 minutes with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, not with an aide, tech, or assistant. Each individualized session is 100% hands-on, focusing on solving the root cause(s) of the issue in order to achieve long-term success, not just on subsiding underlying symptoms.
-
Because every session is highly involved and individualized, you don’t need to come as often compared to other physical therapy practices. The standard model of physical therapy requires you to come at least 3 times a week. We typically see our patients 1 time per week.
We provide our patients with a customized exercise program to follow throughout the week, have weekly check ins, and provide our patients with the option for 24/7 communication via our custom mobile app. Less frequent sessions give you back the freedom and flexibility in your busy life.
-
Every person is different but on average we see our patients for about 6-8 sessions. However, factors like age, the severity of the injury, additional health issues, and how long you’ve been in pain can occasionally make the path to full recovery more lengthy.
Upon completion of your initial evaluation, we will be able to provide you with a more accurate timeline as it relates to your condition.
-
No prescription is needed. We are direct access practitioners and do not need a prescription or referral from a doctor to provide care; no more waiting to see your doctor to obtain a script or waiting for authorization from your insurance company. However, we are required to notify your physician on file of your plan of care within 30 days of initial evaluation.
-
At your initial evaluation, you physical therapist will conduct a thorough examination to gain a better understanding of your condition. They will review your medical history and any symptoms you may be experiencing and perform any related testing. The therapist will evaluate your strength, mobility, flexibility, posture, balance/coordination, and body mechanics.
Upon completion of the examination, the therapist will review their findings and will discuss their recommended plan of care. You will also be provided access to our mobile app and with a home exercise program.
Further information related to participation, reimbursement, scheduling next visits, etc. will also be discussed during this time.
We email you the necessary forms to be filled out prior to your initial visit and ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes early to make sure that all intake forms have been properly filled out and signed.
Please make sure to wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to exercise and allow the therapist to access the area that requires treatment.
-
You can expect a full 60 minute, one-on-one treatment session that is specifically individualized for you. We will review your progress, discuss any questions or issues that you may have, and update your home exercise program as needed.
The remainder of the session will consist of therapy focusing on manual therapy techniques and hands-on exercises that are intended to address impairments and root cause of your injury or condition.

Yes! Every sessions is 100% one-on-one with your coach.
-
Sports performance is not considered a medical service so insurance will not reimburse this service and therefore, we are unable to submit this as a medical claim to your insurance provider.
-
At your first visit your coach will perform a thorough assessment testing your physical performance, strength, and overall flexibility/mobility. After performing the assessment your coach will discuss their recommendations on a training program and a pathway towards achieving your goals. We typically work with our athletes 1 time per week for a duration of 6-8 weeks but can be flexible on a training program.
Our athletes are provided with access to our mobile app where they will have access to their coach on a 24/7 basis. This allows athletes to reach out if they have any questions or concerns throughout the entire process. Athletes will also be provided with a exercise program to perform throughout the week to help address any areas needed attention that were identified on the assessment.
