Improve Shoulder Stability and Strength

See this content in the original post

🚨 Scapular strength is imperative for normal scapulohumeral rhythmn. At a 2:1 ratio the arm elevates about 180 degrees overhead with 60 degrees of that coming from the upward rotation of the scapula and 120 degrees from the glenohumeral joint. Without adequate strength of the scapular musculature allowing normal upward rotation of the scapula, the glenohumeral joint must compensate to achieve that needed movement. This may lead to pain or issues down the road in the shoulder region.

🚨Scapular strength is often addressed in various shoulder issues and injuries. It is important to know how to progress appropriately and how to target the various muscles involved.
